Weekly Zumba Classes

Our mission is to bring to you the everyday person quality, affordable and safe martial arts, kickboxing and fitness in a safe, fun and non-intimidating enviroment, focused on you as an individual to strive to achieve the best you can be to the highest level of excellence and self well being.

Improved self confidence, Improved concentration, Anti bullying, Discipline, Improved school work, Fit and active kids, Classes from pre-school to adults, Stranger danger.

Children will be expertly coached and learn a range of skills, all instructors are first aid trained, fully insured and CRB checked

Jumping 4 Joy run three Soft Play Sessions for the under 5's every Tuesday & Thursday morning from 10.00am until 11.30am.

All under 5's are very welcome. They are drop-in Sessions with no need to pre-book. The cost is £3 per child with a discount for larger families. Refreshments are available. For further details please contact Sue or Tom on 01243 604642

Weekly Zumba classes take place on a Tuesday  6.30 - 7.30pm in our sports hall and on a Thursday 6.30 - 7.30pm in our dance studio. Both classes are are drop in sessions and all are welcome

Weekly - Legs, Bums & Tums exercise followed by Kettlebells fitness class with Emma Campbell - held every Wednesday between 6:15 & 8:15pm (bring your own kettlebell).

 

Kettlebells is weightlifting with a difference. Dynamic moves using these easy to handle weighted balls will get you swinging, snatching – and sweating! This isn’t a stand still and lift class. It’s energetic, mixing cardio with weights for a full body

workout that will build strength and stamina.

The Dance Club - Weekly sessions on Wednesday 6 to 7pm, Thursday 5.00 to 6.45pm, Friday 5.30 to 6.30pm & Saturday 9am to 1pm.

We are a local dance company based in Selsey offering children from 5 upwards the chance to learn to dance by a fully qualified instructor.

 

We believe that children benefit from dance in many different ways.

 

Not only is it fun and a great form of exercise, it is also a great confidence builder and a fantastic opportunity to socialise with the child's own peers.

 

Classes are £5 per child per class and payable in advance of the month.

What is yoga?

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength,

flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.

The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.

The practice originated in India about 5,000 years ago, and has been adapted into many styles and forms.

What are the health benefits of yoga?

There have been many scientific trials of varying quality, which have been published on yoga, most studies suggest yoga is a

safe and effective way to increase physical activity especially strength, flexibility and balance. There is some evidence that

regular yoga practice is beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains including lower back

pain and depression and stress.
